About Us

West Coast Youth and Community Support (WCYCS) takes pride in being a local service providing opportunities for young people, individuals and families across the Eyre Peninsula through our many support services and programs

WCYCS is a Homelessness Alliance partner which allows us to provide crucial homelessness services to people on the Lower Eyre Peninsula, through case management, Code Blue and Red responses, assertive outreach and our Youthaven, supported youth accommodation facility.

Our organisation provides Alcohol and Other Drug counselling services for individuals and families. We deliver an effective and successful clinical and therapeutic service for members of our community from the age of 15 and above, and their families. This important service is supported by our Healing Circle day centre which offers group therapy and activities for the age of 18 and above.

We believe in supporting young people with every opportunity possible for them to develop into active citizens and participate fully in their communities. Our Youth Workers and Counsellors deliver a range of programs that engage with the young people, as well as their families, across the Eyre Peninsula.

WCYCS also run a range of successful programs that connect community. Mentally Fit EP aims to empower people of all ages to take charge of their lives and to create mentally fit connected communities through program based activities. Community Connections is a Department of Human Services funded program that supports people to build stronger social and community connections, which can improve quality of life and provide better health outcomes.

Our Mission

WCYCS is a vibrant, responsive, client focussed service that empowers young people, individuals and families on the Eyre Peninsula to implement changes enabling access to housing, training and healthy community participation.

Our Vision

We aspire to a thriving community where all people are valued
